MAKI SUSHI ROLLS AND EDAMAME

These cucumber and egg maki rolls are a quick, light lunchbox option that’s both fresh and fun to make. You can mix it up by adding your favorite fillings like avocado, salmon, or whatever you have on hand. Serve with some edamame on the side and a little soy sauce for dipping, and you’ve got a healthy, tasty lunch that’s easy to pack and enjoy!


MAKI SUSHI ROLLS

Time: 15 min, Servings: 1

Ingredients
  • Japanese rice (cooked)
  • Seaweed
  • Filling of choice (I did cucumber and egg this time, but avocado and salmon are delicious too)
  • Edamame
  • Soy sauce
Instructions
  • Spread the cooked rice evenly over the seaweed, then add your filling of choice.
  • Roll it tightly, then slice it into 2 cm thick pieces.
  • Pack the rolls in your lunchbox, with a side of edamame and soy sauce for dipping.
  • Done and ready to enjoy!
